This project represents an attempt to create a new green market concept – a market place where food would be made, not only sold, and also consumed – a venue where consumers would get in direct touch with the nature. This “Nature industry” solution would, with addition of greenery and application of bioclimatic principles, reconnect existing location with its natural surroundings. The idea of making a market where food would also be produced, led to the issue of placing green houses for food production in forms of gates, with their colors abreast with surrounding facades, typical of Vojvodina. Also, these green houses would have an important bioclimatic role – they would produce food in a completely natural way, but also the energy to supply the rest of the complex.
